The Lotus Europe is also known as the Europa. It is a two door mid-engine GT coupe. It was introduced in the year 1966 by the Lotus manufacturer and production stopped in 1975. In total there were 9,300 models made. The used Lotus Europa is not too expensive but it is not so cheap either. The Europa is a sports car and is available with either the 1470 cc Renault engine or the 1558 cc Lotus/Ford engine. This model was fairly decent but it had a rather weak engine. That was the main reason why this model was not so popular. This car is similar to the Renault Alpine A110 and is quite popular in the country of France. There are not many used Lotus Europa cars on sale though as many are seen in museums of are owned by private collectors. Right now, a used Lotus Europa car would be very expensive to purchase. They are unique and that is why their price is so high. Those who decide to buy a used Lotus Europa will be great fans of the brand. They want this model to become a part of their collection and will no doubt not intend to use it as a normal vehicle.
